玻璃的清洗是制造中空玻璃的道工序，也是由中空玻璃生產(chǎn)線的前3段來(lái)完結(jié)的，這3段分別是上片段，清洗風(fēng)干段和運(yùn)輸段。玻璃由上片段進(jìn)入清洗風(fēng)干段，先由3組毛刷和水進(jìn)行清洗，然后由大功率熱風(fēng)進(jìn)行吹干，吹干后玻璃進(jìn)入運(yùn)輸段。

現(xiàn)在一些中空玻璃生產(chǎn)廠家大多采用自來(lái)水、井水或一般清水來(lái)清洗玻璃，這需求依據(jù)實(shí)際情況來(lái)判斷。一般由于自來(lái)水、尤其是井水中含有大量的鈣、鎂、氯等離子，當(dāng)這些離子附著在玻璃外表時(shí)，會(huì)影響丁基膠、二次密封膠與玻璃外表的粘結(jié)質(zhì)量，然后影響中空玻璃的密封壽數(shù)，簡(jiǎn)單導(dǎo)致密封失利。一般的清水僅僅是過(guò)濾掉了水中的顆粒性雜質(zhì)，不能去除水中的離子。假如中空玻璃要求比較高，主張加裝清水設(shè)備，使用去離子水洗清玻璃。
